It’s not every day that Londoners have the opportunity to watch world-class ballet for free, but BP are once again making it possible. Since 1987 The Royal Opera House has broadcast a handful of productions free of charge for the Nation to enjoy. So far this year the BP Big Screens series has streamed productions of both Don Giovanni and La Bohème live to various locations around the country, from Aberdeen to Plymouth. The 2015 series will come to an end on the 22nd September with The Royal Ballet’s performance of Romeo and Juliet. First arriving to Covent Garden 50 years ago, Kenneth MacMillan’s ballet is a 20th Century classic and pairs beautifully with Prokofiev’s score. Grab a picnic and head on down to Trafalgar Square to enjoy an evening of music and dance, brought to you by some of the world’s most talented stars. The production is due to start at 7.30pm but we would recommend getting there early as Trafalgar Square is likely to fill up fast, despite its 10,000 capacity.

Just over a month ago Monmouth Dean oversaw the letting of 6 Excel Court in Whitcomb Street to Nash Studio. We hope that they are enjoying their new offices and we have no doubt that they will be sucked in by Trafalgar Square’s electric atmosphere on the 22nd of September.
