Henderson Global Investors have just secured a resolution to grant planning consent for a prime mixed use scheme in Great Marlborough Street, W1. The scheme will revitalise an urban block in the heart Soho and will involve a newly constructed office building in Great Marlborough Street and the refurbishment of two existing office buildings fronting Poland Street. The plans combine six apartments, three retail units and 80,000 sq ft of office space surrounded by a new courtyard accessed from Great Marlborough Street. Henderson expect the scheme to be completed in early 2014.
