Udderbelly has returned to the Southbank

 Nearest Tubes: Waterloo, Embankment

Udderbelly has returned to the Southbank for the eighth year running, bringing you 15 weeks of non-stop entertainment. With only 2 weeks left to go before Udderbelly prepares to move north to the Edinburgh Fringe, be sure not to miss this fantastic festival, which hosts an array of music, comedy and circus shows.

This year’s upside-down purple cow – one of London’s more ~unique~ venues - has already hosted performances from award-winning circus performers Circa, who opened the festival on the 7th April, as well as welcoming comedians such as Ed Gamble, Jason Byrne and the legendary Stephen K. Amos. Longer-running performances include Friday Night Freaks, Gobsmacked! and Austentatious: An Improvised Jane Austen Novel. The 9th of July will witness Bang Said the Gun – an alternative poetry night, followed by Reginald D. Hunter, who will be one of the festival’s final acts on the 16th.

As always, entry to the “Udderbelly Pasture” is free, so why not head down for a drink or a bite to eat at one of the Southbank’s most popular outdoor venues. Tickets must be bought for the live shows – make sure to book soon to avoid disappointment (available from http://www.udderbelly.co.uk/whats-on).
