Soho landmark finally gets go ahead

Many local Soho occupiers must have scratched their collective heads over the last decade as to why oh why a 96,000 sq ft red brick building slap bang in the middle of Soho should have been empty since 1999. Trenchard House on Broadwick Street was, actually, a Met Police station house and it’s taken a decade of planning squabbles and two ownership changes to get to the point where, now, Barratt London has been appointed as development partner for a proposed scheme that is likely to feature 78 flats.
