Lumiere London

Nearest Tubes: Various – try Oxford Circus to see Les Voyageurs then head south down Regent Street.

Beat the January blues this year by enjoying the inaugural Lumiere London light show that will decorate Central London. For four days this month these creative art pieces will be dotted about the West End and King’s Cross and will transform London into a city-wide art exhibition. Some of London’s most iconic sites, such as Trafalgar Square and Regent Street, will be brought to life by various innovative light projections and installations and there will also be some interactive pieces. Lumiere London has been produced by Artichoke, a creative trust which has collaborated with world-renowned artists, such as Julian Opie and Janet Echelman. The event is free and travel information is available online, along with a map of the different locations ( www.visitlondon.com/lumiere ) in order for you to plan your visit.
